Brick-red fir that makes every green in the yard look greener.
Red dyed fir is Douglas fir bark screened to 5/8" minus and colored a rich brick-red with iron oxide pigments — the same mineral that colors terra cotta. The fine, even texture spreads smooth and the bold color holds its look far longer than natural bark, giving beds a crisp, high-contrast finish that makes foliage pop. One cubic yard weighs approximately 500 lbs; spread approximately 2" deep for best results. Hello Gravel delivers it in bulk by dump truck across Salem and the Willamette Valley.
