Hardwood chips are screened 3/4"–3" maple and alder with minimal fines — a clean, blonde ground cover that stands up to Willamette Valley mud season. Use them on garden pathways, walking trails, playgrounds, and dog kennels, or spread them thick for mud control on job sites. Apply 6–12" for playgrounds and 1–3" for paths and trails. One cubic yard weighs approximately 700 lbs. Hello Gravel delivers them in bulk by dump truck across Salem and the Willamette Valley.
