Fir bark nuggets are screened to 1"–2" with no fines — clean, chunky Douglas fir bark with a rustic, woodsy look. The larger nugget size means they stay put where finer bark blows or washes away, which makes them the pick for exposed beds, coastal properties, and anywhere the wind works harder than you do. Brown in color; apply approximately 2" deep for best results. One cubic yard weighs approximately 600 lbs. Hello Gravel delivers them in bulk by dump truck across Salem and the Willamette Valley.

Hello Gravel cared more about the structural integrity of my house than they did about making the sale. I was trying to place an order to buy dirt to place between a retaining wall and footings at the base of columns that hold up my house. They could have just sold me anything for profit, but they told me to go get the advice of a structural engineer, knowing that the structural engineer would probably order the dirt himself and possibly from another company. That’s integrity.
