Mason sand is a coarse, clean sand — grittier than beach sand — that earns its keep across the whole property: leveling bricks and pavers (about 1" deep does it), mixing mortar for masonry work, sandblasting, lightening potting mixes, and blending with sawdust for horse arena footing with better drainage and traction. One cubic yard weighs approximately 2,000 lbs. Hello Gravel delivers it in bulk by dump truck across Salem and the Willamette Valley.

How it works
- We fix what we control. Wrong material, confirmed fulfillment errors, or orders we cannot complete are reviewed for replacement, refund, or another fair resolution.
- Safe delivery comes first. The driver chooses the final safe dump location on site. If your requested spot is not safely reachable, we deliver to the closest safe location available.
- Plans change. You can cancel free up to one full business day before delivery. Next-business-day orders cannot be cancelled once confirmed.
- Natural material varies. Color, texture, moisture, dust, and sizing can vary by quarry, supplier, season, and region.

I purchased 8 tons of 3/4 crushed stone for a project at my off-grid eco-village. The area where I live is a little tricky to get large deliveries to but with some amazing help from Cadian, I managed to get the delivery within the tight-timeline. Cadian was on top of all the communications I sent him both text and email, he definitely made my experience much pleasant than it could have been. I would work with these guys again because they know what good customer support looks like.
