3/4 minus quarry rock is angular crushed quarry stone graded from 3/4" down to fines — the straight-ahead base material for foundations, roadways, driveways, and anything that needs serious compaction. The sharp crushed faces and fines bind tight under a plate compactor, building a stable, load-bearing surface that holds through wet Willamette Valley winters. One cubic yard weighs approximately 2,200 lbs. Hello Gravel delivers it in bulk by dump truck across Salem and the Willamette Valley.

While I cannot speak to the actual service, I did enter my phone number to get a quote. I realized it was probably too much for my small project. But I received a very helpful follow up text conversation, and after I explained it was probably more than I needed, they still took time to help me work through how much I would need, and offered me possible solutions, even knowing I wouldn't be using their product.
