Hello Gravel cared more about the structural integrity of my house than they did about making the sale. I was trying to place an order to buy dirt to place between a retaining wall and footings at the base of columns that hold up my house. They could have just sold me anything for profit, but they told me to go get the advice of a structural engineer, knowing that the structural engineer would probably order the dirt himself and possibly from another company. That’s integrity.

Waushara County's climate, soil type, and local geology influence material performance; wet springs, cold winters, and varied soils mean drainage and frost resistance matter. Choose materials suited to your project's exposure to moisture, freeze-thaw cycles, and load (walkway vs driveway). Expect regional variations in color and texture because materials are sourced locally.
Common projects include driveways, drainage repair, patio bases, garden beds, and large-scale landscaping or construction prep. Our platform works for small homeowner loads and contractor bulk orders, so you can order for both DIY and commercial jobs. Use our material calculator to estimate quantities and choose the delivery option that fits your timeline.
Match material characteristics to the task: prioritize stability and compaction for driveways, good drainage for wet areas, and finer grades for planting beds or leveling. Consider local conditions like clay soils or low-lying, wet areas common in parts of the county when choosing materials. If unsure, use our aggregate quiz or contact our team for guidance.
Calculate volume by measuring area and desired depth (length x width x depth) and converting cubic yards to tons using our online calculator. As a rule of thumb, small landscaping jobs often start at our 3-ton minimum, while bigger projects may need multiple truckloads. Contact our team if you want help estimating, especially for uneven ground or compaction needs.

Standard delivery is 2 or more business days, with a next-day option available for orders placed before noon CST for an additional fee. You can pick your preferred delivery date at checkout and we will confirm with the local hauler. Keep in mind rural routes and seasonal road conditions may affect exact arrival windows.
Drivers may be able to perform tailgate spreading at their discretion, but this is not guaranteed and depends on safety and access at your site. You should request the service at checkout and prepare the area to make spreading easier if permitted. For definite spreading needs, consider hiring a local landscaper or equipment rental.
Clear a safe access route and parking area that can accommodate a tri-axle dump truck, and mark the drop location clearly in Order Notes. Protect lawns or soft surfaces with plywood if needed and remove low branches or obstacles. Communicate any weight limits, narrow lanes, or local permit requirements before delivery.
Due to regional sourcing, texture and coloration may vary and materials may not match photos exactly. You can add color or texture preferences in the Order Notes, and we will do our best to match available local materials, but exact matches are not guaranteed. Contact customer service if appearance is critical for your project.
Seasonal conditions like frozen ground, spring thaw, and snow can limit access and may trigger local road weight restrictions, slowing or changing delivery logistics. Local municipalities sometimes post weight limits in spring to protect roads; check with your county or let our team know if you expect restrictions. We will work with haulers to find the best delivery timing and routing.
Contact our team as soon as possible; we try to accommodate changes before orders are dispatched but modifications depend on processing status. If there is an issue on delivery, report it promptly and we will work with the supplier and hauler to resolve it according to our policies. For refunds or disputes, see our customer service and refund policy for details.
We accept major credit cards, PayPal, and Apple Pay through a secure online checkout, and our minimum order is 3 tons. Pricing is transparent at checkout and may include delivery fees depending on distance and speed. For large contractor orders, contact our sales team to discuss scheduling and volume needs.
