Prices vary by material type, delivery distance, and seasonal demand. Keep in mind Hello Gravel has a minimum order of 3 tons and shows transparent pricing at checkout.

Estimate the volume first: length x width x depth = cubic feet, then divide by 27 to get cubic yards. Multiply cubic yards by the material's density (typically about 1.1 to 1.6 tons per cubic yard for common aggregates) to get tons, then multiply by your per-ton price or get a quote on our site. If you need help, use Hello Gravel's material calculator or contact our team for a tailored estimate.

Choose based on function: look for materials that compact well and allow or block drainage as needed. Consider durability, appearance, and budget; regional sourcing in West Kansas means texture and color can vary, so pick a material that meets your performance needs and aesthetic preferences. If you are unsure, our sales team can recommend options suited to your project and local conditions.

A quick rule is to calculate cubic yards and then convert to tons using a density range (about 1.1 to 1.6 tons per cubic yard for many aggregates). For reference, small garden beds often need 1 to 5 tons, a modest patio base might need 3 to 8 tons, and longer driveways require much more depending on width and depth. Use our material calculator for a specific project estimate for Palco conditions.

Hello Gravel serves Palco and many nearby zip codes in West Kansas, but availability depends on supplier and truck routing. Enter your zip code (67657) at checkout to confirm service, delivery windows, and any applicable fees. Remember the 3-ton minimum order and that regional sourcing influences which materials are available.

Standard delivery typically requires 2 or more business days from order confirmation. Next-day delivery is sometimes available for orders placed before noon CST for an extra fee, subject to supplier and truck availability. You can choose a preferred delivery date during checkout, and we will confirm timing with you.

Drivers may perform tailgate spreading at their discretion, but this service is not guaranteed. Request spreading at checkout and the driver will assess safety and access on arrival before proceeding. If spreading is needed, plan for possible refusal due to site conditions or safety concerns.

Clear the intended drop area of vehicles and obstacles, mark the desired dump location, and check for low-hanging wires or narrow access that could block a tri-axle truck. Protect fragile surfaces like lawns or paved driveways with plywood if concerned and let the driver know about any site constraints before delivery. Good preparation helps reduce delays and additional charges.

Materials like gravel, sand, dirt, and stone reflect local geology and can vary in color, texture, and size. Seasonal changes and depot stock also affect appearance, so photos are indicative rather than exact matches. You can add color or texture preferences in Order Notes, and our team can discuss local options before you buy.

Contact our customer team as soon as possible; changes are easier to accommodate before an order is processed or dispatched. We will do our best to help, but not all modifications or cancellations are possible once the supplier and truck are scheduled. See our order and refund policies for details and contact information.
