This material's fine texture makes it ideal for creating a smooth, compactable base layer. Fa-21 limestone screenings are commonly used under pavers, patios, and walkways, as well as for leveling and filling small voids. Their excellent compaction properties help prevent shifting and settling, making them a preferred choice for both residential and commercial hardscape projects. Additionally, the limestone composition provides natural durability and resistance to weathering. However, because screenings are very fine, they may retain moisture and can become muddy if not properly drained, so they are best used in well-drained applications.
