Screenings in the #200 to 3/8" size range are finely crushed stone byproducts produced during the aggregate screening process. This material consists of particles ranging from very fine dust (#200 sieve) up to small granules (3/8"), resulting in a compactable, stable product.
The fine texture of screenings makes them ideal for creating a smooth, level base beneath pavers, bricks, or flagstone in patios and walkways. Their excellent compaction properties help prevent shifting and settling, while the small particle size fills voids for a solid, even surface.
