Inch-and-a-half washed stone is a clean, rounded, water-worn stone rinsed free of dust and fines so it drains freely and won't silt up. In mixed natural tones — gray, blue-gray, tan, buff, cream, and brown, some with soft mineral banding — the larger size makes it a strong choice for heavy drainage, culvert and pipe surround, and backfill where large open voids move a lot of water, and its clean, rounded look also reads well as decorative cover.
