Product description
Lava Sand Planting Mix takes everything in our Premium Soil Mix — nutrient-rich compost blended with screened sand — and adds the perfect touch of lava sand, a porous volcanic mineral prized in Texas organic gardening for the structure and trace minerals it brings to the soil. The result is a planting medium with better aeration, moisture handling, and a healthier root zone than native clay alone. Hello Gravel delivers it in bulk by dump truck across the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

Hello Gravel Guarantee
Right material. Safe delivery. Real help if we miss.
How it works
- We fix what we control. Wrong material, confirmed fulfillment errors, or orders we cannot complete are reviewed for replacement, refund, or another fair resolution.
- Safe delivery comes first. The driver chooses the final safe dump location on site. If your requested spot is not safely reachable, we deliver to the closest safe location available.
- Plans change. You can cancel free up to one full business day before delivery. Next-business-day orders cannot be cancelled once confirmed.
- Natural material varies. Color, texture, moisture, dust, and sizing can vary by quarry, supplier, season, and region.
“We chose a delivery date. The driver dropped it exactly where I asked. I had never ordered gravel in my life.”

I work for an industrial construction company that deals with a lot of civil work, and I'm very accustomed to building a proper base with specific materials on projects we work on. The people at Hello Gravel were very pleasant to deal with. Prices are good. Unfortunately, the product I asked for wasn't available after paying for it, but they worked hard at ensuring I had a suitabe alternative. In the end, it all worked well, and the staff were very attentive. Lots of operators would not have gone through the trouble they did to make sure I was happy as a customer. Hello Gravel did
