Ready-to-plant soil blend for beds and gardens

Ready-to-plant garden soil blended with organic matter for flower beds, shrub borders, and landscape plantings. Spread it and plant. To fill raised beds and vegetable gardens, the 50/50 Topsoil & Compost Blend is the better pick; to improve beds you already have, choose Compost Soil.

A topsoil-and-compost blend meant for in-ground planting beds, richer than plain topsoil but not the airy stuff you'd use in a raised bed or container.

Also called: garden mix, planting mix, planter's mix, vegetable garden mix, landscape mix, amended topsoil.

“Friendly and professional service. Plenty of updates leading up to the drop. The driver was top notch and delivered to a hard to reach location on a dime. The compost is great product. It feels and smells how it should. The local foxes and deer would agree. The deliveries of compost and garden soil have become a hangout for local wildlife. That says a lot. Can't wait to terraform our yard.”

Worked out perfect. I gave the agent the size of my raised garden beds and they sent me enough extremely dark beautiful dirt. All the associates bent over backwards to make this an easy project.

Frequently Asked Questions

Use our built-in calculator on this page — enter the length, width, and depth of your project area, and we'll calculate the exact amount. As a general rule, 1 ton of material covers about 100 square feet at 2 inches deep.

We deliver directly to your driveway or project site using a dump truck. Just choose your delivery date and time window (AM or PM) during checkout. Next-day delivery is available on orders placed before noon.

Yes! Delivery is included in the price you see — no hidden fees, no surprises. The price per ton (or yard) you see is the price you pay, delivered.

The minimum order is typically 1 ton (or 1 cubic yard for mulch and soil products). Our pricing gets better with larger quantities — a full truckload (18 tons) gives you the best per-unit price.

Due to the nature of bulk materials, we cannot accept returns once delivered. We recommend using our calculator to get the right amount — it's better to order slightly more than to run short mid-project.

Topsoil is natural soil (how finely it is screened varies by supplier) — great for grading, leveling, and lawn establishment. Garden soil is a premium blend with added compost and nutrients — ideal for raised beds and planting areas where you want maximum plant growth.

Our garden soil and compost soil are ready to plant in as-is. Topsoil benefits from mixing in compost for garden beds. Fill dirt is not intended for planting — it's for grading and structural fill only.
