Local Insights
Daggett, population 360, sits within a larger West California metro area with a metro population of 7.9+ million. With a steady growth rate of 0.40% annually, local construction and landscaping demand tends to be measured and predictable rather than boom-driven — homeowners plan projects over seasons and contractors schedule work around steady, incremental growth. Daggett’s climate features 204/year sunny days and an annual rainfall of 49.77 inches within USDA hardiness zone 9a, which means materials must perform well through both bright, UV-intense periods and significant wet seasons. For homeowners this translates into a need for a variety of bulk materials — well-draining base layers, erosion-control soils, durable surface aggregates, and moisture-retaining mulches — so projects stay stable through heavy rains and resist weathering from sun exposure.

While I cannot speak to the actual service, I did enter my phone number to get a quote. I realized it was probably too much for my small project. But I received a very helpful follow up text conversation, and after I explained it was probably more than I needed, they still took time to help me work through how much I would need, and offered me possible solutions, even knowing I wouldn't be using their product. Makes me wish they had fit my needs, if that's the level of service they provided even to a non customers

Just a little hiccup in the delivery date but everything worked out well and with great communication from Janel. Ordering went smoothly as well as working with the delivery team to deliver to the appropriate location for my yard.

You can order a range of bulk materials for Daggett projects including gravel, sand, dirt, stone and related aggregates. Our listings describe typical uses and characteristics so you can pick materials suited for driveways, drainage, patios, grading, and beds.
Start by describing the project goal (drainage, stabilization, finish surface, or fill) and the performance you need (compaction, drainage, or decorative look). For example, choose mixes that drain well for paths, denser material for base layers, or rounded textures for a finished surface; our product pages and team can help match those needs.
Estimate needed tons by measuring area (length x width x depth) and using our online calculator or the rule of thumb on product pages; common depths are 2-4 inches for surfacing and 6-12 inches for base or fill. If you prefer, contact our team with your dimensions or zip code 92327 and we can help confirm quantities.
Yes, delivery is available in and around Daggett when you enter zip 92327 at checkout. Standard delivery requires 2+ business days and next-day delivery may be available for orders placed before noon CST for an extra fee; we confirm timing after order placement but cannot guarantee exact arrival windows.
Clear the delivery area of vehicles and obstacles, mark the preferred drop zone with a driveway marker or flags, and ensure trucks can access the site with adequate turning and weight-bearing surface. If access is tight or there are overhead obstructions, tell us at checkout so we can coordinate with the hauler.
Drivers may be able to perform tailgate spreading at their discretion depending on safety, access, and load size. You can request spreading at checkout, but this is not guaranteed and any spreading is at the driver’s assessment when arriving on site.
Material appearance and texture reflect regional geology, so colors and mixes in Daggett may differ from photos. Also consider West California climate concerns like drought and drainage — choose materials and depths that reduce water runoff and suit low-water landscaping when relevant.
If you are cost-conscious, ask about smaller gradations or locally sourced mixes that reduce hauling distance and per-ton cost. Requests for free materials are common, but a practical commercial option is low-cost materials combined with affordable delivery — we can quote options for your 92327 address.
Contact our team as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an order; changes are easier to accommodate before the order is dispatched. We will do our best to help, but modifications depend on supplier and hauler schedules and are not always possible after processing.
We accept major credit cards, PayPal, and Apple Pay through our secure checkout, and our minimum order is 3 tons. Pricing is transparent at checkout and includes delivery options so you can see any additional fees before confirming your order.
