Local Insights
Garfield is a small but growing community with a city population of 4,470, located within a West Arkansas metro area that serves more than 2.5+ million people. That steady annual growth rate of 1.20% suggests consistent demand for home improvements, new driveways, garden upgrades, and small construction projects rather than a sudden building boom. Local climate matters: with an annual rainfall of 34.25 inches and about 228 sunny days per year in hardiness zone 8b, homeowners face a mix of wet periods and long dry stretches. Those conditions favor materials that balance drainage and stability—good base mixes for drives and paths, erosion-control soils, and mulches that retain moisture. As yards and small developments evolve, accessible, quality bulk materials help homeowners manage water, establish plantings, and finish outdoor spaces efficiently.

While I cannot speak to the actual service, I did enter my phone number to get a quote. I realized it was probably too much for my small project. But I received a very helpful follow up text conversation, and after I explained it was probably more than I needed, they still took time to help me work through how much I would need, and offered me possible solutions, even knowing I wouldn't be using their product. Makes me wish they had fit my needs, if that's the level of service they provided even to a non customers

Just a little hiccup in the delivery date but everything worked out well and with great communication from Janel. Ordering went smoothly as well as working with the delivery team to deliver to the appropriate location for my yard.

Choose materials based on traffic, drainage, and budget. For many residential driveways, a compactable, well-draining mix of gravel, sand, dirt, stone works well because it sheds water and packs solid under tires. Contractors often design layered sections (base plus surface) to improve durability. Contact our team for recommendations based on the driveway size and expected use.
Measure the length and width of the area, multiply to get square feet, then decide the desired depth in inches. Convert to cubic yards (area x depth ÷ 324) and then to tons if needed, or use our online material calculator for a quick estimate. We recommend ordering a little extra to account for compaction and grading. If you prefer, our sales team can help calculate quantities for your project.
Yes, local suppliers and contracted haulers deliver to residential addresses across Garfield and nearby zip codes. Deliveries are typically made by dump truck fleets (usually tri-axle) and require safe, accessible drop-off space. Tailgate spreading may be available at the driver’s discretion—request it at checkout but understand there are no guarantees. We coordinate delivery timing and communicate arrival details after you place an order.
