Farm Sand

Farm sand is a versatile, naturally occurring aggregate commonly sourced from riverbeds or quarries. It features a fine to medium grain texture, making it ideal for a variety of agricultural and construction uses. Unlike coarser construction sands, farm sand is typically screened to remove large particles, resulting in a consistent, manageable material.




The fine texture of farm sand allows for excellent drainage and aeration, which is especially beneficial in agricultural settings for soil amendment, livestock bedding, and arena footing. In construction, it is often used for pipe bedding, leveling pavers, and as a base for concrete or masonry work. Its easy-to-handle consistency makes spreading and mixing straightforward, while the lack of excessive dust or debris ensures a cleaner work environment. Farm sand is not ideal for applications requiring high compaction or structural strength, but it excels in projects where drainage, filtration, or a smooth finish is desired.
