Manufactured sand in the #10 size range is a finely crushed aggregate produced by mechanically breaking down larger rocks, typically limestone, granite, or basalt. Unlike natural sand, this product is engineered to meet specific grading requirements, ensuring consistent particle size and quality. The #10 size indicates a very fine material, with particles passing through a No. 10 sieve (2 mm), making it ideal for applications where a smooth, compactable base is essential.




The fine texture of #10 manufactured sand provides excellent workability and compaction, making it a popular choice for use in concrete mixes, masonry mortar, bedding for pavers, and as a leveling layer beneath patios and walkways. Its uniformity reduces voids and improves the strength and finish of the final product. Additionally, manufactured sand contains fewer impurities and less organic material than natural sand, resulting in cleaner, more durable construction.
