Modified sand in a 3/8" minus size range is a versatile construction aggregate composed of fine sand blended with small particles up to 3/8" in diameter. The "modified" attribute indicates that the material has been engineered or processed to include a mix of fines and small aggregates, enhancing its compaction and stability compared to standard sand.




The 3/8" minus grading ensures that the sand contains a range of particle sizes, from fine grains up to 3/8", which allows for excellent compaction and load-bearing capacity. This makes it ideal for use as a base material under pavers, patios, walkways, and driveways, as well as for backfilling and pipe bedding.
