3/8” Minus Cinder Sand

3/8” minus cinder sand is a finely graded volcanic aggregate, produced by crushing and screening cinder rock to ensure all particles are 3/8 inch or smaller. This sand’s unique cinder composition makes it lightweight and porous, offering excellent drainage while still providing good compaction. It is commonly used for pathways, underlayment for pavers, landscaping, and as a base for sports courts or playgrounds. The fine particles fill gaps between larger aggregates, reducing voids and helping to lock materials in place.
