The 1/4" size offers excellent compaction and a smooth finish, making it particularly suitable for use as a bedding layer under pavers, patios, and walkways. Its small, angular particles interlock well, providing stability while still allowing for adequate drainage. This material is also commonly used for pipe bedding, joint filling, and as a top dressing for driveways or pathways.
