Aggregate Base Course made from limestone in a Class 2 size range (#200 to 3/4") is a versatile and durable construction material. This blend combines fine particles (as small as #200 sieve) with larger crushed limestone pieces up to 3/4", resulting in a well-graded mix that compacts tightly and provides excellent load-bearing strength. The limestone is quarried, crushed, and screened to meet strict specifications, ensuring consistent quality and performance.




The wide size range allows for superior compaction and stability, making it ideal for use as a sub-base or base layer beneath roads, driveways, parking lots, and concrete slabs. The fines fill voids between larger particles, reducing movement and creating a solid foundation, while the angular limestone pieces interlock for added strength. This material is valued for its excellent drainage properties, resistance to rutting, and ability to support heavy loads. While it compacts well, the presence of fines means it may generate some dust during installation, but this also helps bind the material together for a firm, stable base.
