Very professional and patient. Responded quickly to email or text. I had researched the quantity and type of gravel I needed for my project before contacting Hello Gravel. When I explained what I was doing, the recommendations I received were consistent with what I had found. Piero kept me updated on the delivery. Yes! Delivery is included in the price you see — no hidden fees, no surprises. The price per ton (or yard) you see is the price you pay, delivered.
The minimum order is typically 1 ton (or 1 cubic yard for mulch and soil products). Our pricing gets better with larger quantities — a full truckload (18 tons) gives you the best per-unit price.
Due to the nature of bulk materials, we cannot accept returns once delivered. We recommend using our calculator to get the right amount — it's better to order slightly more than to run short mid-project.
We recommend a 3-inch layer for optimal weed suppression and moisture retention. Applying more than 4 inches can actually harm plants by preventing water and air from reaching the roots.
Our dyed mulch holds its color for a full season (8-12 months) thanks to UV-resistant colorants. Natural brown mulch will gradually fade to gray. Refreshing with a thin top layer each spring keeps beds looking sharp.
