Product description
Packs down firm and shimmers gold-red on paths and patios.
Decomposed granite — DG — is 100% crushed granite in a golden-red color that catches and shimmers in the light. It compacts into a firm, walkable surface and resists migrating once set, which makes it a favorite for pathways, patios, and low-water yards across DFW. The warm, rich tone adds depth to landscapes and walkways without the upkeep of turf. Hello Gravel delivers DG in bulk by dump truck across the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

Hello Gravel Guarantee
Right material. Safe delivery. Real help if we miss.
How it works
- We fix what we control. Wrong material, confirmed fulfillment errors, or orders we cannot complete are reviewed for replacement, refund, or another fair resolution.
- Safe delivery comes first. The driver chooses the final safe dump location on site. If your requested spot is not safely reachable, we deliver to the closest safe location available.
- Plans change. You can cancel free up to one full business day before delivery. Next-business-day orders cannot be cancelled once confirmed.
- Natural material varies. Color, texture, moisture, dust, and sizing can vary by quarry, supplier, season, and region.
“We chose a delivery date. The driver dropped it exactly where I asked. I had never ordered gravel in my life.”

I ordered fill dirt to grade around my house. The process was so simple! The driver met me where I wanted him to drop the dirt. I think I spent a total of 30 min with the ordering, paying, and the truck arriving with the material the day they said they would be there. I'm very pleased.

Hello Gravel found me while I was looking for dirt to fill a hole that opened up in my back yard. I originally searched on DirtMatch and when I spoke with Chuck I was originally quoted for 1 ton of dirt. After showing pictures it turned out I needed less than half of that. Chuck talked me through the process of picking the right soil, how to fill the hole, and where to get what I needed from the Lowes local to me. Uploaded pictures of how we found it, after we dug out all the overhang and cleaned it out, and after we filled it in. I saved $400 by talking with Chuck and it only took like 3 hours. I wasn't even an official customer and Chuck took the time to help me with the hole in my yard. And on a weekend no less!!! What I'm saying is if you're looking for honest, kind, caring people to help you with your job. From my experience, this is the place.

Yes — it compacts well and resists migrating once set, which is part of why it's so popular for paths and patios. A stabilizer can be added for driveway use.
