Cedar Mulch
Aromatic cedar mulch for beds, paths, and dog runs
Cedar mulch is ground cedar wood with the fresh scent cedar is known for. It holds moisture, keeps weeds down, and breaks down more slowly than most hardwood mulch, so it lasts longer between refreshes. The natural oils make beds less inviting to some insects. Color and texture vary by location, and it weathers to gray over time.
Cedar mulch is ground cedar wood with a natural fresh scent, not dyed hardwood mulch.
Also called: cedar chips, aromatic cedar mulch, shredded cedar, cedar wood chips, cedar bark mulch.

I ordered fill dirt to grade around my house. The process was so simple! The driver met me where I wanted him to drop the dirt. I think I spent a total of 30 min with the ordering, paying, and the truck arriving with the material the day they said they would be there. I'm very pleased.

Frequently Asked Questions
Use the calculator with your bed length, width, and depth. A 2 to 3 inch layer is standard. One cubic yard covers about 100 square feet at 3 inches deep.
Cedar's natural oils make beds less inviting to some insects. It's not pest control, but it's one reason people pick it for beds near the house and for dog runs.
Cedar lasts longer and smells better. Hardwood mulch breaks down faster, which feeds the soil more, and comes in dyed colors. Pick cedar for lower upkeep, hardwood for richer beds.
Yes, it's a popular dog-run surface. It stays cleaner than bare dirt and helps with odor. As with any mulch, keep an eye on dogs that like to chew wood.
Yes. Natural cedar weathers to a silver-gray over a season or two. A thin fresh layer on top brings the color back.
By dump truck, straight to your property. The driver dumps it in one pile where you choose. Pick a firm, level spot the truck can reach, clear of cars and overhead wires. Delivery is included in the price you see.
