#67 Limestone

4.91,917 verified Hello Gravel reviews

Angular 1/4–3/4" limestone for concrete, driveways, and drainage

#67 limestone is crushed limestone graded from about 3/4 inch down to 1/4 inch, with most of the dust removed. The spread of sizes fills in tighter than single-size stone, so it makes a solid concrete aggregate and a firm driveway top layer, while the gaps between pieces still let water drain. It's always limestone, so we only offer it where limestone is quarried nearby. Size varies slightly and color varies by location.

#67 limestone is angular crushed limestone from about 1/4 to 3/4 inch, guaranteed limestone rather than #67 stone that can be any rock the quarry runs.

Also called: 67 limestone, 1/2 inch limestone, limestone concrete aggregate.

I work for an industrial construction company that deals with a lot of civil work, and I'm very accustomed to building a proper base with specific materials on projects we work on. The people at Hello Gravel were very pleasant to deal with. Prices are good. Unfortunately, the product I asked for wasn't available after paying for it, but they worked hard at ensuring I had a suitabe alternative. In the end, it all worked well, and the staff were very attentive. Lots of operators would not have gone through the trouble they did to make sure I was happy as a customer. Hello Gravel did

Frequently Asked Questions

Use the calculator with your length, width, and depth. Driveway top layers usually take 2 to 3 inches. One ton covers about 115 square feet at 2 inches deep, or about 60 square feet at 4 inches.

It's a standard size number used by quarries and road departments. #67 stone runs from about 3/4 inch down to 1/4 inch, with very little fine material. Exact sizing varies slightly by quarry.

Same size, specific rock. #67 stone can be granite, trap rock, or limestone depending on the quarry. #67 limestone is always limestone, which is a bit softer and usually lighter in color. Pick it when your plans or your contractor call for limestone.

Yes. #67 is a common coarse aggregate for poured concrete. Combine it with concrete sand and cement in the ratio your mix design calls for.

#67 runs a bit smaller and has a wider spread of sizes, so it packs a little tighter. #57 is larger and more open, so it drains faster. For French drains, pick #57. For concrete and driveway tops, either works.

By dump truck, straight to your property. The driver dumps it in one pile where you choose. Pick a firm, level spot the truck can reach, clear of cars and overhead wires. Delivery is included in the price you see.
