3/4” Limestone Gravel

3/4" limestone gravel is a versatile construction aggregate produced by crushing natural limestone rock into angular pieces within a 3/4-inch size range. The limestone attribute means this gravel is durable, naturally resistant to weathering, and offers a neutral, light color that blends well with most landscapes.




The 3/4" size strikes a balance between stability and drainage, making it ideal for a wide range of applications. It is commonly used as a base material for driveways, walkways, and patios, as well as for drainage solutions such as French drains and retaining wall backfill. The angular shape of the gravel helps it lock together, providing excellent load-bearing capacity and reducing shifting over time. While limestone gravel compacts well and provides a solid foundation, it may not be suitable for areas requiring high permeability, as it packs more tightly than rounded or larger aggregates.
