Perfect For

Garden pathways Landscape borders Mulch alternative Patio base Erosion control

Decorative Aggregate - Coquina, 3/8” Minus

Decorative aggregate in a 3/8" minus size with a coquina attribute is a unique blend of crushed, naturally occurring shell fragments, primarily composed of coquina limestone. This material is produced by crushing and screening coquina shells to achieve a fine, consistent texture where the largest pieces are no bigger than 3/8", with smaller particles and fines included.

The 3/8" minus sizing ensures excellent compaction and a smooth, stable surface, making it ideal for pathways, patios, and garden beds. The coquina attribute adds a distinctive, coastal aesthetic and a softer underfoot feel compared to traditional stone aggregates. This material is popular for both residential and commercial landscaping, decorative ground cover, and as a base for pavers. Its natural composition allows for good drainage while minimizing dust and tracking. However, the softer nature of coquina may not be suitable for high-traffic or heavy load-bearing applications.
