The large 4" to 8" size makes this limestone aggregate particularly effective for erosion control, retaining wall backfill, and as a base for large drainage projects such as culverts and French drains. Its substantial size allows for superior water flow and prevents soil migration, making it a top choice for commercial drainage systems and shoreline protection. While its size and angularity offer structural benefits, it is not suitable for compacted surfaces or decorative top layers.
