Why eden Homeowners Choose Hello Gravel
Eden has a population of 1,172 and sits within a fast-growing regional market that supports steady demand for home building and outdoor projects. A growth rate of 2.10% annually means more homeowners are renovating, expanding yards, and updating driveways and drainage — all activities that drive consistent need for bulk materials. The local climate—Hardiness Zone 8b with 228 sunny days per year and about 34.00 inches of annual rainfall—favors year-round outdoor work but also creates specific needs: good drainage mixes, erosion-control materials, and substrates that balance moisture retention with runoff. For homeowners, that translates into choosing materials that perform for walkways, patios, beds, and grading projects while standing up to both sun exposure and periodic heavy rain. Quality, locally sourced bulk materials reduce rework, cut delivery time, and give projects the durability needed for Eden’s mixed weather patterns.Popular Projects in eden This Season

Frequently Asked Questions - eden Gravel Delivery
Everything you need to know about gravel delivery in eden.
Start by matching your project needs: durability for driveways, drainage for paths and beds, and appearance for visible surfaces. Consider local conditions like rainfall and soil type, how much maintenance you want, and whether the material will be a base layer or a finish layer. Use our material quiz or contact our team for guidance if you are unsure.
West Georgia tends to have clayey soils and frequent rain, which can hold moisture and affect drainage and compaction. For wet or clay-heavy sites choose materials and installation methods that improve drainage and reduce rutting; for steeper or erosion-prone areas pick materials and placement techniques that resist washout.
For structural needs like driveways or base layers choose a compactable material that provides support; for walking paths and decorative beds choose a material with an appearance and texture you like. Think in terms of function first (support, drainage, surface), then appearance and maintenance when selecting from gravel, sand, dirt, stone and other aggregates.
Measure the length and width of the area and decide the desired depth, then use those numbers to get cubic yards: area (sq ft) × depth (ft) ÷ 27. For convenience, use our online material calculator or request help from our team. As a rough weight guide, one cubic yard can range roughly 1.2 to 1.6 tons depending on the material, so plan around the 3-ton minimum order when estimating quantities.
Standard delivery typically takes 2+ business days, and next-day delivery is available for orders placed before noon CST for an additional fee. You can pick a preferred delivery date at checkout; availability depends on supplier and truck schedules and is subject to regional sourcing and processing times.
Deliveries are made by contracted dump trucks (often tri-axle), which require sufficient space to turn and dump safely on-site. Clear a path, mark utilities and obstacles, and confirm driveway capacity; tight streets, low-hanging wires or soft ground can affect where the driver can safely place material.
Drivers may be able to perform tailgate spreading at their discretion; you should request this service at checkout. Because it depends on truck, crew and site conditions, spreading is not guaranteed, so plan for final grading and finishing with your own tools or a local contractor.
Materials reflect regional geology and seasonal stock, so color, texture and particle size can vary from photos and between loads. If a specific color or texture matters, note your preference in Order Notes and contact our team for guidance before ordering.
Delivery fees vary by distance, load size, access conditions and whether you choose expedited service; many areas have free delivery for standard orders but not always. The best way to know is to enter your zip code for a precise quote and review any optional fees for next-day delivery or special placement requests.
Contact our customer team as soon as possible; changes are easiest before the order is processed and dispatched. We will make a best effort to accommodate requests, but modifications may not be possible once the supplier or truck has been assigned.
As of today, we require 2 business days for delivery.

We cannot get out of the truck and manually spread it. However, depending on the location, safety, and comfortability of the driver – we may be able to tailgate spread your material. This involves pulling the truck forward as material is being dumped to make it easier for you to distribute material after delivery.
The minimum order size is 3 tons.
