Mark the desired drop location and note any underground utilities; drivers will assess safety on arrival and may move the truck or refuse a drop if conditions are unsafe.

Some drivers may offer tailgate spreading at their discretion, but this is not guaranteed and depends on safety and equipment. Request spreading at checkout and be prepared to accept a delivered pile if the driver cannot safely spread material.
