Why Fivepoints Homeowners Choose Hello Gravel
Fivepoints is a small, steadily growing community with a city population of 1,000 and a metro area population of 2.3+ million. Its modest annual growth rate of 0.40% signals predictable, incremental demand for construction and landscaping rather than rapid development booms. That steady pace means many homeowners focus on maintenance, targeted upgrades, and smaller new projects—driveways, drainage repairs, planting beds, and patio bases—rather than large subdivisions. The local climate and geography—USDA hardiness zone 8b with 152 sunny days annually and about 33.50 inches of rain each year—shapes material choices: you need aggregates and soils that manage moisture, resist erosion, and compact reliably in warm, occasionally wet conditions. Quality bulk supplies like graded gravel, structural soils, sand, and mulch matter here because they reduce rework after storms and extend the life of landscaping and light construction improvements.Popular Projects in Fivepoints This Season

Frequently Asked Questions - Fivepoints Gravel Delivery
Everything you need to know about gravel delivery in Fivepoints.
Choose based on traffic level, drainage needs, and desired look. In Fivepoints' climate, materials that balance drainage and compaction work best; for example, coarser aggregates help runoff while mixes with fines lock in place. Consider maintenance (raking, adding more material) and consult our material calculator or sales team to match local soil and slope conditions.
Think about plant needs, weed control, and moisture—some materials are better at retaining moisture while others improve drainage. Also consider color and texture to match your yard and the local geology. Order a small test amount if color or grain matters, and use our calculator to estimate how much you need for beds, paths, or borders.
Fivepoints has hot, humid summers and periodic heavy rain, so drainage and erosion resistance are important. Choose materials and installation methods that shed water quickly on slopes and resist washing out in storms. Regional sourcing means texture and color can vary, so plan for local material performance rather than relying on photos.
Measure the area (length x width x depth) in feet and convert to cubic yards, then use our calculator to convert to tons. A general rule is about 1.2–1.6 tons per cubic yard depending on the material and moisture; add 10% for compaction and waste. If you’re unsure, send dimensions to our team for a quick estimate.
Standard delivery is 2 or more business days, and next-day delivery is available for orders placed before noon CST for an additional fee. You can choose your preferred delivery date during checkout, subject to local supplier and truck availability. Exact timing depends on supplier schedules and road access in your zip code.
Our minimum order is three tons and deliveries are typically made by tri-axle dump trucks. For small projects you may combine loads or request different options, but extra fees can apply. Make sure your access point can accommodate a heavy truck and allow room for turning and dumping.
Trucks typically dump at the driveway, curb, or the nearest safe location accessible by the driver. Mark your preferred drop spot, clear obstacles, and protect nearby landscaping, irrigation, and structures. If ground conditions are soft, consider alternative staging areas to avoid rutting; the driver will assess safety on arrival.
Drivers may be able to perform tailgate spreading at their discretion; you should request this service at checkout. This service is not guaranteed and depends on safety, job complexity, and time constraints. For precise grading or professional spreading, plan to hire local labor or a contractor.
Price depends on material type, local availability, distance from supplier, load size, and seasonal demand. Delivery and labor for installation also affect total cost. Request a quote for your zip code to compare per-ton and per-cubic-yard pricing and ask about any delivery promotions or fees.
Contact our team as soon as possible—changes are easier before an order is processed and a truck is scheduled. We will do our best to accommodate requests, but modifications may be limited once dispatch is underway. Review your order confirmation and reach out quickly if details need adjusting.
Not exactly—natural materials vary by region so texture, color, and size can differ from images. Materials in Fivepoints will reflect local geology and may look different from stock photos. If color or grain is critical, request a sample or note preferences at checkout.
Large trucks may be restricted on narrow streets or by HOA rules, and some municipal areas require permits for heavy vehicle access. Check local regulations and inform us of any gates, low bridges, or tight turns when ordering. We can coordinate with suppliers to plan a safe delivery route and avoid delays.
As of today, we require 2 business days for delivery.

We cannot get out of the truck and manually spread it. However, depending on the location, safety, and comfortability of the driver – we may be able to tailgate spread your material. This involves pulling the truck forward as material is being dumped to make it easier for you to distribute material after delivery.
The minimum order size is 3 tons.
