Base fines are a recycled crushed concrete material processed to 3/8" minus — small angular pieces down to a fine dust. The high fines content packs into a dense, stable surface, making it a cost-effective road base and leveling layer for driveways, parking areas, and prep work across DFW. For best results it's placed over a prepared, compacted surface and compacted with the right equipment; it shouldn't be laid over wet or muddy ground until that ground has dried.
