Stone Sand

Stone sand is a finely crushed aggregate produced from hard stone, typically granite or limestone, through mechanical crushing and screening processes. Unlike natural sand, stone sand features angular particles, which enhance its binding properties and make it an excellent choice for construction applications requiring stability and strength.




The angular texture of stone sand improves compaction and interlock, making it ideal for use as a setting bed for pavers, underlayment for patios, and as a component in asphalt mixes. Its fine gradation allows for a smoother finish in concrete and masonry work, while also providing effective drainage in base layers. Stone sand is commonly used in both residential and commercial projects, including walkways, driveways, and as a leveling material. While its angularity offers superior stability, it may be less comfortable for barefoot areas compared to rounded sands.
