Produced by mechanically crushing larger limestone rocks, this material consists of particles ranging from 3/8 inch down to fine dust, creating a compactable and stable base.




The 3/8" minus sizing is ideal for applications where a smooth, level surface is required. The fine particles fill gaps between larger aggregates, making it excellent for use as a base layer beneath pavers, patios, and walkways. Its limestone composition provides durability and natural compaction, reducing shifting and settling over time. Common uses include residential driveways, pathways, and as a leveling agent for hardscape projects. While its fine texture offers superior compaction and a smooth finish, it may not be suitable for drainage applications, as it can retain water and become muddy when wet.
